Abzal is the Managing Partner at SAN Partners. He is responsible for all aspects of the firm's strategy, team and operations. Abzal leads the firm in its mission to deliver the best client results in the consulting industry.
Abzal's past work experience include senior positions at Deloitte as well as KPMG. He has more than 11 years experience in tax, finance and forensic services. He has worked with clients in financial services, industrial products, consumer products, retail, telecommunications, subsoil industry, technology and transportation.
Abzal holds an MA in Economics from Antwerp University (Belgium) and a BBA in Finance from KIMEP University (Kazakhstan). Abzal is a member of the Chamber of Taxpayers of Kazakhstan.
Almabek Zhabbarov
Partner, Head of Tax and Transfer pricing services
Almabek is one of the leaders in today's tax consulting industry and is widely recognized for his experience and expertise in tax and transfer pricing. Moreover, Almabek has created and patented the TP benchmark program which allows to conduct transfer pricing analysis more precisely.
Almabek has more than 15 years of consulting experience in advising clients on wide range of tax and transfer pricing projects. Almabek's past work experience include senior positions at Delotte, KPMG and Schneider Group.
Almabek holds an MA in Economics from Southern Methodist University (USA) and BA in Engineering from Semey Technological University (Kazakhstan). Almabek also holds an ACCA qualification and a membership in the Chamber of Taxpayers of Kazakhstan.
During his tenure at SAN Partners, Almabek has applied his experience and advised leading companies in industrial, construction, energy, transportation and telecommunication industry.
Sanzhar Davletov

Sanzhar is a Partner in SAN Partners and head of the firm’s Financial Services practice.
Sanzhar has more than 10 years of consulting experience in financial services. His past work experience include senior positions at KPMG and Kcell.
Sanzhar holds a BA in Finance from American University of Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan) and also holds an ACCA and CFA qualifications.
Sanzhar has led a broad range of engagements focused on financial audit, financial due diligence and management consulting. His sector experience spans retail and corporate banking, insurance, subsoil sector, telecommunication and transportation.

Aida holds a BA in Accounting from Kazakh Economical University (Kazakhstan) and also holds Professional Accountant and ACCA qualifications.
Aida has an extensive experience leading accounting projects. Her industry expertise focuses on the technology companies, transportation as well as retail and consumer goods.
Assan Okashev
Partner, Head of Legal services
Assan is a Partner in SAN Partners and head of the firm’s legal practice.
Assan has more than 10 years of legal consulting experience. His past work experience include senior positions at major law firms of Kazakhstan. His prior legal experience also includes serving as an in-house lawyer to a subsidiary of UK-registered copper mining company where he also focused on litigation and natural resources law. Assan has an extensive experience representing clients in complex disputes in courts and various state bodies.
Assan holds a BA in Law from Kazakh National University (Kazakhstan) and LLM from Kazakh National University (Kazakhstan).
Assan's experience includes deep expertise in corporate law, labor law, litigation and commercial law. He has applied these capabilities across various industries, with a particular focus on industrial sector, telecommunication, transportation, finance and construction.
